Student Partnerships
Every summer students from all over the country come to Gulf County to spend a week volunteering with a group called Team Effort and helping our citizens in need through a variety of service, construction and cleanup projects.

Volunteers provide the backbone of the CCDF allowing us to leverage funds in order to serve more clients.
With a volunteer base of over 300, the impact of the work of the CCDF goes well beyond the individuals who receive direct support, having a positive ripple effect throughout the entire community. We have received help from the following groups:
- Men’s Ministry First Baptist Church, Wewahitchka
- Covenant House, Non-profit Group Home
- Men’s Ministry Family Life Church, Port St. Joe
- Port St. Joe High School Football Team
- The St. Joe Company Employees
- Auburn University Students (once yearly approx 200 students)
- Team Effort (once yearly approx 225 students)
